What can I expect from the event?
Imagine MMA cage fighting… now add medieval armor and weapons. 24 knights will be fighting it out for glory and honor in our iron cage.
Where is the experience located?
930 SW Hall St, Portland 97201, along the South Park Blocks on the Portland State University Campus.
Does the experience take place in an indoor or outdoor venue?
This experience is held indoors in an air-conditioned venue.
How long does the experience last?
For you to have an estimate, people usually spend 240 minutes on this experience.
Will food and beverages be available on-site for purchase?
Concessions are available during most events on the concourse level.
- Concession stand No. 1 is located near the elevator in the northeast corner of the concourse (behind Section 110).
- Concession stand No. 2 is located in the southwest corner of the concourse (behind Section 102). No. 2 is not open for all events.
Versa Cafe, located on the ground floor, is often open during large events and offers a unique menu.
Is there parking available?
Parking is available for events in PSU Parking Structure 1, 1872 SW Broadway, Portland 97201 (enter on SW Broadway or 6th Ave) and Parking Structure 3, 1631 SW 12th Ave., Portland 97201 (enter on SW 12th or 13th).
Both take Parking Kitty, Park Mobile credit cards, and cash. Pay at kiosks after parking and before exiting the parking structure. You cannot pay for parking at the box office. Learn more on the Transportation website.
Street parking is available on downtown streets. Time limits range from 90 minutes to five hours, depending on the block. Pay using Parking Kitty, credit or cash at most kiosks. Learn more about current rates and hours at the city’s webpage.
Commencements: Construction at SW Broadway and SW Jackson (Rose Hill) will limit street parking in the immediate blocks southeast of Viking Pavilion and along SW Broadway.
Will there be additional sessions?
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee extra dates. Please refer to the experience page for updated information on availability, as those are the confirmed dates and times.
Will there be interaction with the performers?
While the performers will captivate and engage the audience, the experience does not involve direct interaction with them. You can fully immerse yourself in the performance by observing and enjoying it.
Will there be merchandise for sale?
Yes! There will be merchandise for sale at the shop.
About tickets
Can I purchase tickets at the door?
We will have a box office on site. However, tickets may be sold out by the time you arrive at the event, so we highly recommend you book your tickets in advance in order to guarantee your spot. You can purchase tickets in the Fever App or on the Fever website.
Can I transfer my tickets to another person?
Yes, you can transfer your tickets to anyone for free. It is as easy as clicking "Transfer Tickets" on your ticket in the Fever App. Please contact us if you need additional help. Make sure to include your ticket order number.
Do I need to print my ticket?
You can find your ticket in the "Tickets" section of the Fever app (you can download it from the Apple App Store or Google Play). Please remember to log in with the same login method used to make the purchase. You will also find your QR code in your purchase confirmation email.
I can't find my ticket. What should I do?
You can view your ticket in the Fever app, within the Tickets section. If you don't have the app installed, you can download it from the Apple Store or Google Play. Remember to log in using the same account that you used when buying the tickets. If you still cannot find your ticket, please contact us.
Can I change the date of my ticket? Are refunds allowed?
For this event, all sales are final and tickets can’t be refunded, changed or modified. For more information, please refer to our T&Cs.
About access to the event
Do I need to arrive at the start of my scheduled session?
It is recommended that you arrive at the time stated on your ticket, but you can arrive within 20 minutes of the show starting.
Can I bring animals? Are service dogs allowed?
Unfortunately, no pets are allowed in this event’s location, though we welcome service animals.
Is the venue accessible?
Yes, the event is being held in an accessible venue. To have a wonderful experience, you will only need to follow these steps: The northeast ground entrance near Versa Cafe is the primary ADA access for many events. Drop-off is available on the SW College Ave loop off SW Broadway (go right at Jackson-Rose Hill), and then enter at the bottom corner of Viking Pavilion.
Ramps for ADA access are also located at the Box Office entrance, SW Hall and 10th, near the Stott Community Field and at the southeast entrance on the Park Blocks-facing side of Viking Pavilion for late comers.
What are the prohibited items at the experience?
Items considered a hazard to attendees or staff are not allowed. These include:
- No balloons, self-rising or helium-filled
- No outside food or beverages (empty water bottles generally allowed)
- No alcoholic beverages (excluding approved catering or concessions) No illegal drugs No weapons, including knives, guns, or drones (per FAA rules)
- No glass bottles or metal cans
- No airhorns, whistles, or other similar noisemakers No confetti, glitter or similar materials
- No large posters or signs, signs or flags on poles No wrapped gifts at events with bag check - No pyrotechnics of any kind
- No other generally prohibited hazardous substances
Commencement: No self-rising or helium-filled balloons or large signs/displays that obstruct the view of others are allowed in the Viking Pavilion.
Is the experience accessible for deaf/visually impaired people?
We are happy to confirm that people with visual or hearing impairments can enjoy this experience.
Will there be strobe lights?
This event will include strobe lights.
Are there chairs available? Can I be seated during the experience/exhibition?
This is a seated experience so that seating will be available for every guest.
Will restrooms be available on-site?
- All-Gender – On the lower level, located at the east end of the Arena, near Versa Cafe, located on the concourse behind section B6 (single stall) in the corridor off the west end of the Arena.
- Family Restroom – Located on the concourse level behind section C6 in the corridor off the west end of the Arena.
- Mens Restroom (3) – Located on the north concourse, behind section 111, and on the west concourse behind section 101 (go around the corner to the left). On the concourse, the men's room is located at the east end of the Arena, near Versa Cafe.
- Womens Restrooms (3) – Located on the north concourse, behind section 111, and on the west concourse near Guest Services behind section 104. On the concourse, womens room is located at the east end of the Arena, near Versa Cafe.
Can I take photos or record the experience?
Feel free to take photos and share them. When taking photos, please make sure not to disturb other customers. Cameras with detachable lenses of 100 MM or less are not allowed at athletic department events. Monopods and tripods are not permitted. Video recording devices are prohibited at PSU Athletic Department events.
Cameras may or may not be allowed at special events (i.e., concerts) and is determined by the event organizers. Check your event information.
Is there a Lost & Found?
Lost & Found at the Guest Services office (behind section 104). Items turned into Lost & Found at the Guest Services office remain in the Viking Pavilion for the duration of the event. Items with a value of more than $50 will be turned over to Portland State’s Campus Public Safety Office within 48 hours of the event. Contact CPSO at 503-725-4407.
Is coat check available?
Unfortunately, this venue has no coat check.
Is there an age requirement?
All ages are welcome to this experience (recommended 3+)! Please keep in mind that the space is not accessible for prams or strollers.
Will there be an audio guide?
Unfortunately, this experience does not include an audio guide.
